Never Truer…

“Seattle is like living with the most beautiful woman in the world…

…Who is sick 90% of the time.”
~Heard from J.J. Kisinger

Amen, J.J.

A hearty amen.

  • That’s very funny and, um… worrisome?

  • It depends on you look at it. In my best moments, I kind of find that cold, grey, dreariness kind of charming. :)

Of course it can get a bit heavy once in a while, but I’ll bet it’s not worse than it sometimes gets in your neck of the woods!

Well, yes…that is precisely what I was going to say before I actually read your comment, there, Joel, since I, myself associate Cold, Grey and Wet weather with pleasantness, rather than being sick.
    Hehe.

When I was in Switzerland in 2000, my last whole week of stay there was filled with non-stop rain, with no or bleak sun.Which dampened the spirits of my parents somewhat, but only cheered me up all the more!
God, How I loved that particular week! That kind of rain, coupled with the great low temperature of the place, felt like heaven.[I esp. love lower temperatures].

Whereas here in India, though we get extremely heavy showers in the monsoons sometimes, (many times, in fact), but nothing beats the experience of that one week there!

  • I laughed out loud.

  • P.S. I believe you have a birthday coming up…you are no longer a teenager, yes? How did time pass so quickly, leaving us adults before we could even realize what was happening. I wish you the best birthday, though I may be very early or very late :)
